      Introducing the Marimekko padded bedspread, crafted from 100% organic cotton and padded with recycled polyester for eco-friendly comfort. This versatile bedspread is two-sided: one side showcases the iconic Unikko pattern, while the other side is solid, offering a minimalist alternative.

      The Unikko pattern, created by Maija Isola in 1964, has become a symbol of international print design excellence. Marimekko's founder, Armi Ratia, originally believed that true floral essence couldn't be captured in prints, leading to the exclusion of floral designs from early collections. In response, Maija Isola designed Unikko as an abstract interpretation of a flower, rather than a photorealistic rendition. Today, Unikko stands as a powerful emblem of joy and creativity, deeply woven into Marimekko’s design identity.
