HOW DO WE DELIVER YOUR PRODUCTS ?
We dispatch any non furniture orders from Monday to Friday… any orders over the weekend or public holiday will be sent off on the following Monday (or working day).
We aim to post all our non furniture orders the very next day… however on some occasions it may be two working days.
We generally post all our orders via Australia Post or TNT – although sometimes we use another carrier if it a better fit.
Once your order is shipped we will email you a tracking number so you can follow the journey of your parcel.
We offer FREE shipping on all fashion over $100.
Homewares shipping costs are calculated from $10 subject to size and weight. In some cases we will offer a promotional deal with free shipping.
If an incorrect freight amount is selected at the time of your order, we will contact you by email make a decision as to a more appropriate freight charge.
SHIPPING COSTS FOR LARGER ITEMS :
Our Exclusive ARIA concrete granite tables and poured concrete tables are large and very heavy. For us to deliver the tables interstate… you need to ensure there are 2 x able bodied persons available at the time of the delivery to assist with the delivery of the table.
Due to OH&S regulations, the delivery driver can only deliver concrete granite tables to the ground floor of a residence or unit. If you reside in an apartment or a residence where the table is going upstairs, you will need to make arrangements for the items to be moved from the ground floor or lobby to the residence.
All of our tables are shipped flat packed securely and will require simple leg assembly upon arrival by the customer. You need to place the table top on the ground face side down.. and then the legs are bolted on securely.
Our delivery contractors are not permitted to unload goods without any assistance, nor help with assembly. Sometimes they do assist out of kindness, however the person who asks for help should take responsibility for any accident.
Delivery times will vary depending on your location – as a guide delivery for most metro locations for large items usually takes between 10-14 business days. Orders to remote areas may take longer than 10-14 business days – please contact us to find out approximate time frames.
In some cases delivery may result in unusually high freight charges… including, but not limited to, remote delivery locations, inner city high rise locations, island deliveries, etc. If an online comes through, we will phone or email you and together make a decision as to a more appropriate freight charge.
If we can’t find a suitable option, Living By Design reserves the right to cancel an order. Please contact us first if you'd like to check if your location may be subject to unusually high freight charges.
Disposal of all packaging material is the customers responsibility.

DO WE ACCEPT RETURNED ITEMS ?
If you’re not happy with your purchase, please contact us straight away.
If the product is faulty, of course we’ll replace it. We are happy to replace the product, refund your money or provide you with a credit note – whichever you prefer. You will need to notify us in 7 days of receiving the goods though.
If you change you mind after receiving your products, you will need to notify us within 7 days. Exchange of a product is at our discretion and we you will be liable to pay postage to return it to us if we agree to an exchange.
Any products bought on sale or special are not able to be returned or exchanged at all. So for any specials, please choose carefully.
Please don’t return a product without contacting us first. If this happens we may not refund the amount as you expected.
Any furniture items purchased are not able to be refunded. If the product is faulty, of course we will find a solution.
You need to notify us in 7 days of receiving the goods if there is a fault. We will need to include photographs of any damages. We will endeavour to replace the product, or provide a refund or credit note, once we know the details of the fault.
COLOURS PORTRAYED ON DIFFERENT DEVICES :
You may sometimes find the colour of a product when you receive it is not exactly as you intended. This is due to the difference in computers, devices and all sorts of settings. If you’re not happy, contact us and we’ll be happy to work through a solution for you.
