I'm always nervous ordering things like this online, but I'm very happy with the quality of the lamp bases and the shades. I had a number of questions about these lamps which unfortunately LBD couldn't answer, so if you're wondering (for the 48cm high ones): * The shade is 21cm high, 30cm wide, and 21cm deep (in the middle of the oval, front to back). The colour of the shade is a soft flax/linen colour (see photo) * The base is 23cm round (face on) * The cord is black, 157cm long (excluding plug), with an in-line switch 42cm from the base. Cord exits the base at the bottom side edge. * Standard Edison Screw bulb fitting They are a great bedside table lamp size.
