Marimekko's Unikko plate features Maija Isola's iconic floral pattern in white and beige. The ceramic plate is part of Sami Ruotsalainen's clean-lined Oiva tableware collection that suits both casual and festive settings.
The Unikko pattern came about in 1964 after Armi Ratia, the founder of Marimekko, had announced in public that no floral fabrics are designed at Marimekko. Unikko is a Finnish word that means poppy. Today, Unikko is one of Marimekko's best-known patterns and recognized around the world.
It's dishwasher, microwave, and freezer safe; glazed colours and pattern remain vibrant.
